  In some ways a very clever film making interesting points about religion but I just couldn’t help but cringe at so many parts. Definitely an entertaining thriller with surprising moments but I doubt I’ll consciously watch again.

  A somewhat problematic narrative but I’ll watch anything with Audrey Hepburn just to look at her. 

  The shots are very beautiful, I love that it is black and white such considered compositions. But don’t hang around for the plot because it’s utterly shit.

  Really great film making. It’s so well rounded on every front. Really mesmerising if you will excuse the pun. 

  I love how as you figure out what is happening in the story you can see how the more the detective uncovers the more he/ the audience watching is being manipulated. There are so many layers to this I can’t wait to watch it again to see all the subtle things I’ve missed.
