The Apartment 1960
Spent the full film heavily convinced Shirley MacLaine is somehow related to the waitress in always sunny.

The Cat in the Hat 2003
Can't believe this film has 2.3 as an average rating. It's one of my childhood favourites and is completely unhinged. Some scenes are actually laugh out loud funny and I still find it just as entertaining now as I did 19 years ago (although for different reasons).

Beauty and the Beast 1946
My first foray into Jean Cocteau and boy was I not disappointed. The set designs were magnificent and the attention to detail really made this film one of the most fairest of fairy tales. You can clearly tell he's put so much thought into everything and it's paid off dividends. I mean, who else makes someone who plays a stage prop cool by having their single arms hold candelabra for the walls? I wish he would've been in charge of my primary school nativities because he'd even make playing as a tree meaningful.

County Lines 2019
What a directorial debut from Henry Blake. Inspired by the stories he heard while mentoring young people at a PRU you can tell how much of an emotive issue it really is.
