  This delightful slasher brings us what is essentially a 1960’s Batman villain delivering just about every medical pun known to man as he gleefully dismembers his patients. My only substantial complaint regards this film’s consistent habit of shying away from putting the gore on full display. I do find myself forgiving the sin of wasted potential on off-screen deaths, however.  The scene explaining how Dr. Giggles escaped the house is by itself worth the price of admission. If you know, you know. And the disorienting mirror maze scene deserves high praise as well.

  Let’s all just appreciate that we can watch this movie with the most mixed of company and for two and a half hours you can almost guarantee everyone in the room will all be rooting against the Nazis.  It’s the exact kind of sauce this America sandwich needs and right now, and Indy has the recipe. We should all be grateful to have the good fortune to be graced with his glory one last time. 
  In conclusion, when Indy comes on the screen, don’t touch that Dial. Keep watching.
