  has some beautiful moments, and some
  utterly heartbreaking and painfully real moments. lost me a couple times but generally really solid. loved the moments where the non-diegetic became diegetic

  were it not for the rampant sexual assault i would say these guys are some admirable hijinks and shenanigans connoisseurs. unfortunately the sexual assault. kinda goes nowhere and loses its charm when it goes from jackass pranks to escalating levels of tasteless grotesque bullshit. the gentle elementary school beat down is one of the trashiest laughs i’ve ever had ngl. baffling sound design.

  this was TIGHT. i’ve liked a couple new movies this year but this was the first i really truly loved. paced perfectly, shot beautifully, an absolute joy to follow. simple, efficient, just incredibly well done. couple little things that i didn’t love but nothing major. just a really damn solid piece of filmmaking. doesn’t do anything that hasn’t been done before, but it does it all really fucking well. you don’t have to reinvent the wheel if you can make a damn good wheel. bonus points for a squeeze appearance, great use of up the junction lmao
