This was never dull, with the kind of deft script and biting energy that's often missing from big budget sci-fi. It loses some steam at the end, and the main villains could've turned down the ham a tad. Pattinson is a marvel, as is Naomi Ackie, as is the indigenous species of the ice planet who are as delightful as Bong Joon Ho.
Anyone else feel like the character Kai (Anamaria Vartolomei) was underwritten? Perhaps the book gave her more depth.
Still, what a good time.
