  wanted a subtle Indian film to watch and this was just that. not really the overripe, inflated maid-house owner dynamic that of Lust Stories, and other cringy screenplays where some horny director is playing out his fantasy to portray the male protagonist as one who exploits his power over others. butttttt i still can't get over the fact that this man's deep love for Ratna came from the fact that she took care of him, which was also, literally her job?? that's all it took for him to love a woman? her ability to clean up after him??? Freudian as fuck
