One of the most beautiful films I’ve seen in a LONG time. Colman Domingo is stunning, however what really impressed me was all the supporting actors, real life alums of RTA.
I’m shocked this wasn’t more awarded this past season. It’s by far my favorite of all the nominated films I’ve seen.
Love a movie that successfully walks the line between comedy and seriousness, with characters that you both love and hate. It feels like real life, and I like that. The jury is still out about how I feel about the open ending; I either love it or really don’t like it. Honestly can’t tell yet. Leaning towards liking it I think.
I can see why Kieran Culkin is winning all these awards. Deserved.
Visually I love this. I think there were so many small and sometimes seemingly insignificant moments that really come together to symbolize aspects of Bob and his career (my favorite being the way the crowd received him and his new sound at the end).
I will say that even though I did enjoy this film overall, I knew literally nothing about Bob Dylan going into it besides his name. I think that I had seen this as a fan of his, it would have been 4.5-5 stars easily
Lastly, I think all the acting in this film was incredible. Gold stars for all
