Heretic 2024
Been waiting to watch this for a while now. As an ex-Mormon who grew up in the Church & in Utah I really appreciated the psychological horror behind Hugh Grants continuous rambling regarding religion. We Live in Time 2024
I’ve never watched a movie that made me feel so strongly like I was witnessing someone else’s life unfold. The formatting of this film draws you in so quickly. Andrew & Florence did an incredible job, the birthing scene is one of the most amazing scenes I’ve ever seen in my life. This story made me sob my eyes out, the symbolism of her ice skating at the end yanked my heart out of my chest. Beautifully done, may be one of the best romance stories to come out in the last 10 years.

Poor Things 2023
Mesmerizing from beginning to end. I fully believe this movie alone will be snagging Oscars from Barbie & Oppenheimer this year. Easily my favorite film I’ve ever watched. The sets, costumes, score, & script went above and beyond. Emma Stone delivers the most breathtaking performance, capturing the process of becoming human in such an innocent way. Mark Ruffalo was brilliant, didn’t know I needed to see him throw that many fits in 2hours. He had me laughing the whole time. Every woman in her 20’s ought to watch this. I think anyone can find a bit of themselves in Bella Baxter.
