  It was refreshing to see that it’s not lesbianism that’s the conflict to this plot. Shira and Maria are so adorable as a couple and I appreciated how they are not portrayed as toxic to each other. So much love. Such a complex setting of politics and culture from the past and the present. Highly recommend watching just to learn more about the complexities of the world.

  I had a thought after watching this and just want to see how Asia would address the similar pain from the divide.
