  tbh this was surprisingly solid. another one i watched on the flight to Singapore. i expected this to be fucking terrible and just kind of watched it for the lols but i actually kind of enjoyed it. it's ridiculous from premise all the way through to execution with a lowkey insane cast (David Arquette AND ScarJo????) but damn. I was invested. And David Arquette has INCREDIBLE comedic timing.

  "What is that?"

  "My terrible, media-induced paranoid delusions."

  "They're not aliens! They're giant spiders! How many times do I have to say it?"

  i really enjoyed this and seeing it cinemas was a lot of fun. i do wish it had built tension better though bc for a lot of it, it just jumped from event to event without much build up. it was cohesive but everything felt almost... disconnected when it could have been terrifying
