This 'Ramen Western' has a wonderful story from beginning to end with many funny and sensual moments inbetween - and everything revolves around food. The sound editing is noticeably extra and quirky. I really enjoyed the side characters that don't have anything to do with the protagonist. Specifically the scene with the grandma in the grocery store. The Japanese take their craft seriously, be it a perfect bowl of ramen, or the perfect height for a counter in a ramen…
