  Interesting ideas but iffy execution. This movie broadly deals with liberation of many kinds, but blatantly deals with racism by having black-and-white white people and colored white people segregation with ‘no coloreds’ signs in windows and I said “oh brother”

  Very riveting account of how a sinner becomes the pope. I have a general disdain for Christianity but I LOVE the inner workings of the papacy. Loved all the intrigue and shadowy cardinal meetings in hidden corners. Ralph Fiennes did a phenomenal job as a weary man who’s become unsure of his position. I cannot BELIEVE how this ends.

  There was a person three seats down from me who not only fell asleep multiple times, but was in such deep slumber they were snoring. First time I’ve ever heard that in a theater!

  A fun time! Loved Rob Pattinson as Mickey-17 and 18. Especially 18. Kinda beats you over the head with its politics but Mark Ruffalo’s teeth were killing me the whole movie. I will support whatever Bong Joon Ho puts out
