Mickey 17 2025
Mickey 17 was a fun film that was a great watch in IMAX. Seeing Nasha love all versions of Mickey while he struggled to do the same was heartwarming. Printing bodies provides an interesting ethical question, but I liked that the film didn’t focus on that aspect as much but instead on inter and intrapersonal implications.
I was struck by how crass and uncaring the scientists were with Mickey’s suffering as an “expendable”. I would like to think that wouldn’t happen, but I know it easily could be reality.
