The Bourne Legacy 2012
Going to have to explain this rating - I know it’s incongruous. Objectively it’s an average action flick.
This film has a narrative and symbolism that is too close to home. I survived using this, and will continue to. Thus for its impact on my emotions and life, it deserves 5 stars.

Beginners 2010
I discovered that the Jack Russell "spoke" through the subtitles after the fact because I default to turning the subtitles off. In retrospect it made the film much better for me - Ewan's loneliness was palpable as he talked to an unresponsive dog. I highly recommend you do the same.
