  Showing was inexplicably preceded by a (mercifully brief) Laura Palmer themed burlesque performance where the dancer came out wrapped in plastic bags, which is in such obvious poor taste that I'm shocked anyone could have ever thought it was a good idea.

  Had trouble sleeping last night, found myself thinking about this movie, and had to re-evaluate it because I had an epiphany: Damien Chazelle just doesn't understand jazz.
