  My first Fincher movie.
  An incredibly well made thriller with some brilliant acting and an absolutely amazing plot.
  So why 4 stars and not 5?
  Well I can't put my finger on it but somehow the movie just seemed distant. The cold and aloof characters, not to mention the fact that literally everyone is an asshole, makes it tough to root for anyone and also tough to feel for anyone. As a result I didn't feel the emotional or mental impact that some scenes intended.

  Also yeah I'm not the biggest fan of the ending.

  I gotta admit I wasn't sold during the initial 20 minutes, but after that just pure brilliance. Like every possible aspect of filmmaking is just maxed out here, it's honestly insane how well made the film is.
