    Take a common man
    Give him brains
    Add some luck
    Add some more
    Some more brains
    Did I add luck?
    More luck for good measure...

And there you have your Baskhar!
    Engaging, fast and Lucky.

I'd say, overall, a good drama on the omnipresent quagmire of Indian bureaucracy and the complete disregard for a scientific mindset.
However, the character of Pankaj Kapur should have had more substance and depth to it (although it was got better towards the conclusion); while Shabana Azmi felt highly under-utilised despite all her prowess.

And yet, a pretty decent watch.

(It'll have you saying, "Yess, maar usko... Peet de..!!"; somewhat having the same feeling like watching a 90s Bollywood action movie, albeit with a slighter better plot)
