Toad Road 2012
Toad Road, despite a meandering, largely plot free first half is interesting if not entirely successful. If I were being kind I would describe most of the the acting on display as naturalistic but being honest a lot of the performances would be best described as amateurish. But come the half way point the movie becomes more focused and although the characters are largely unsympathetic the movie ultimately presents a well constructed, pointed warning about the perils of immersing yourself…
