My Hackmanathon has hit a Turkey, this is god awful despite Hackmans efforts, Chris O Donnell is terrible as is almost everyone else & the story is mostly ridiculous without any heft for a story striving for heft, it wants to talk about race and the death penalty but never pushes beyond the obvious. Terrible film.

The Living Daylights 1987
I started a bond rewatch in 2020, I stopped after On Her Majesty’s Secret Service which I was assured was the best, it was blooming awful. 2 year later I tried again got all the way past the Moores which for the most part fun now in 2025 I thought I’d start from the daltons and blimey what a load of shit. To be honest I could have and should have turned off at the nothing to declare part whilst they skate over the border on a cello.

The first time I saw this film I did think it genuinely terrible however with considerable time elapsed and no 3d to put up with, at home on Blu it is an impressive visual treat.

I've heard this film described as inspiring, feel good, heart warming etc etc. I think its the worst film I've seen in years, probably the film that's made me the most angry ever. Its a male fantasy at its worst.
