Things I enjoyed: that the "Peruvian Amazon rainforest" was recognisably Mexican/Central American rainforest; that there is NO love interest, and that I completely failed to realise who the baby shower was for, I guess that explained why were were skipping between 1973 and 2003.
Not a good movie, but I had fun.

I love what Gerwig did with this, it's both worthy of the book and stand on its own as a film.
Things I liked - casting and presentation that really showed Jo's similarity to her mother, seeing Beth's talent alongside her sisters', John Brooke made me laugh, I liked Laurie (who I normally just view as a plot device), the framing of one book inside the other, seeing Amy tell Laurie off, seeing how much in common Jo and Amy had, Meg's struggles, and the thing Gerwig did at the end.
