But maybe being a little too on the nose is. I won’t deny that the red hats elicited an eye roll from me. But idk, maybe some people need that.

Paddington in Peru 2024
Shout out to the guy behind me who laughed at everything. Even dramatic scenes.
All the same beats as Paddington 2. Still a lot of charm but it’s lost some of its luster. I liked the commentary on the immigrant experience (now more than ever) but much like the second movie, I would’ve wanted to lean in to the commentary even more.
I would watch every single Olivia Coleman take you know they were breaking in there.

I just know RaMell Ross loves fidget cubes.
I was excited about this movie since I heard about the POV choice and it did not disappoint. It captures the perspective (literally) of the characters in a way that no other directorial choice could. Hats off to the cinematographer too.
