  The cinematography is incredible - everything looks immaculate. Definitely a film to make you go look up what chiaroscuro means! Cast is great, some really interesting line readings particularly by Denzel. Witches so so so well done. It's a very worthy Macbeth and would happily show it to anyone interested in the play. However, there's nothing really special or innovative about the interpretation of the play itself, it's just a good, solid reading. But a very atmospheric one.
