I really liked the cinematic techniques that were used in this film. I do think that Hunter’s character, Gretchen, was written a bit too obtuse even for a rebellious teenager. Also, shoutout to the location scouts on doing such a great job, loved the midcentury-ish home that was featured.

It’s a fine thriller with good cinematic moments, but it definitely takes the title of being the most overhyped film of 2024. It has a very promising start, but towards the end it suffers from predictability and too many logic gaps. Also, the theme song of the Price is Right will never hit the same after this.
