If this is what I'll be getting as I peruse through David Lynch's filmography, then sign me the fuck up! A surrealistic nightmare about the fears of becoming a parent.

I think it goes without saying that parenthood is an enormous, overwhelming stage in life that makes you wonder every day of your life whether or not you will be a good parent. This is natural. I have yet to become a parent myself, but I think about it nearly…

    ★★★★½

With my marathon coming to a close, albeit a temporary one, Kagemusha is such a colorful masterpiece.

The dialogue was fantastic, the acting astounding, and the battle scenes were something to behold. Kurosawa's expert utilization of weather, landscape and colors just brings together an entrancing story that I can't sing my praises enough about.

This really is couple goals, no joke. One can only dream of having such a dedicated partner. Certainly a cool, sexy spy thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Fassbender and Blanchett both give some of their best work here and zero in on their respective strengths with their roles.

    Groovy

A sublime blend of comedy and horror. Makeup and costume, take a bow, you deserve it because my gosh, everything looked fantastic! I didn't know that this was a reboot of the first, but I agree with one of the popular reviews, I'd rather think that Ash was just dumb enough to bring a new girl for round 2.

Gosh, this was perfect. Everything I could've asked for. The cameos were cool, the action sequences were spectacular, the meta humor was on point and the performances were just what this movie, and the MCU as a whole, needed. Deadpool and Wolverine's team-up is just what you expected, with Deadpool annoying the living hell out of Logan. Giving this a half-star more simply because I had a really fun time watching this.

He's back, bub. Let's fucking go!

Finally, an Alien movie that can be invited to sit at the table with Alien and Aliens. Equally balanced the action, the horror, and the comedy.
