Past Lives 2023
A beautifully tragic tale of what if’s, what could’ve been’s, and what now’s. I’ve never been more tense for a romantic melodrama slow burn movie. Everything just felt so terribly and perfectly authentic. If I had a continuous ECG running there’d be at least nine different PACs on that strip. One of those movies that makes you overthink every interaction you’ve ever had and be ever more thoughtful for the ones yet to come. I cannot fuck up this present conscious life I have right now.
