still baffles me that this didn’t do well at the box office. makes no sense.

Anya Taylor-Joy kills this role. Charlize Theron and Anya playing the same role is an excellent duo. and the action is great throughout

    Drugstore June

    ★★

pros: short and to the point, not boring, I laughed a couple times

cons: at times June was insufferable, kinda just ended

could’ve been worse. trying to reach my goal for the year so I gotta get my numbers up, and I’m sure there will be worse additions to the list than this. Haley Joel Osment is apparently the most attractive guy in whatever town this is based on how everyone talks about him. and Bhad Bhabie is acting now I guess

I love the way Bong Joon-ho threw multiple genres in a blender and made a perfectly balanced smoothie. (working on the analogies)

and while mixing the comedic points, dramatic flares, suspenseful twists and legitimately scary moments, Joon-ho made something incredibly symbolic. there’s so much social commentary; it’s a constant from very early on. and it lasts the entire movie. part of the end result is one hundred percent influenced by the social status…
