Death of a Unicorn 2025
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I think this could’ve gone a little deeper into researching the lore and previous findings on unicorns, and also expanding relationships between certain characters. felt like they dropped enough tidbits on us in conversation but it could’ve meant more. the father-daughter relationship between Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega (two goats) could’ve been explored more especially.
I think it’s a pretty funny film. Will Poulter is hilarious in this. my screening loved every joke he made. and when they actually showed us the kills, man they were gory. the doctors were savagely killed off specifically.
won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I really enjoyed myself.

Snow White 2025
I like some of the changes made to the original story, like the group of bandits and the liberation of the once happy community Snow White was a part of. with that comes some sacrifice, such as a mishmash of bandits and dwarves, and the biting into the poison apple essentially meaning nothing in this film.
there’s a theory going around that the bandits were originally gonna fully replace the dwarves in the story, and that could very well be…

Drugstore June 2024
pros: short and to the point, not boring, I laughed a couple times
cons: at times June was insufferable, kinda just ended
could’ve been worse. trying to reach my goal for the year so I gotta get my numbers up, and I’m sure there will be worse additions to the list than this. Haley Joel Osment is apparently the most attractive guy in whatever town this is based on how everyone talks about him. and Bhad Bhabie is acting now I guess

Parasite 2019
yessirrrrr. this is as good as advertised.
I love the way Bong Joon-ho threw multiple genres in a blender and made a perfectly balanced smoothie. (working on the analogies)
and while mixing the comedic points, dramatic flares, suspenseful twists and legitimately scary moments, Joon-ho made something incredibly symbolic. there’s so much social commentary; it’s a constant from very early on. and it lasts the entire movie. part of the end result is one hundred percent influenced by the social status…
