  A gem. Paul’s most accessible film in a long time. He may finally win that best director award. 

  Really loved it. Swept in front moment 1. Vintage. Fun. A great time at the movies. If you can catch a 70mm screening go for it.

  The film does meander a bit and while the aesthetic is gorgeous the cinematography doesn’t do much for me, at least compared to some of his more ambitious work. 

  Still a film worth rewatching and revisiting. I’m looking forward to watching it again.

  Last Night in Soho 2021

  Absolutely loved it. The essential dilemma of being alone in a big scary new place where you're going to try and achieve your dreams while feeling like everyone around you is a potential threat and escaping into a fantasy world in your head is pretty relatable for me. Seeing it fleshed out in a supernatural light was fascinating. Having a detailed, imaginative and committed director like Edgar Wright at the helm takes that concept to its most interesting form.
