Everything about this was super underwhelming. Climactic battle felt like a first act action scene, several characters were just inconsequential nothings, and I'm not totally clear one what the villain's goal was or what they accomplished. Also, it's just really weird to watch a movie where the sorta-villainous president is hiding some dirty clandestine secrets, while in the real world, the president is an actual oligarchic villain whose tactics are not clever or secretive, but just blatant, dumbfuck bigotry.

Miracles: The Canton Godfather 1989
I go into all these Jackie Chan movies wanting to love them, and I do love parts of them, but I find a lot of the comedy gets lost in translation. This one suffered more than others for me, with a lot of quick dialogue back and forth and people talking over each other. Real tough to keep up with the subtitles, and I didn't really know what was going on from scene to scene. Still some great action scenes though.
