Smiled the whole time. Except when I was filled with anxiety by the climax, the only movie scene that gives me the same unrivaled amount of stress even though I’ve seen this movie a hundred times. I don’t know how it gets me every time I watch that scene. Magic!

A really well made doc that bypasses celebrity into topics that can connect with anyone — being different, regrets and turning them into adjustments, family dynamics, achieving what you thought was your dream, trauma. His metaphors all hit really hard, and his acknowledgement of his younger self dismissing love is so endearing. The pauses are just as loud as the monologues.
