  Last Girl Standing 2015

  Film kinda starts at the end. Slasher in the woods, one woman left out of her friend group, she kills the killer and gets away. 

  And that’s where we pick up. Following the aftermath of the “last girl standing,” dealing with her PTSD, paranoia and trauma. 

  It’s a slow burn, I won’t lie, but it kinda explodes into life the last 15 minutes. A very unique take on the slasher genre

  Another tour de force from James McAvoy. What a performance!

  Love Irvine Welsh books so was always gonna like this film. It’s a tragic as it hilarious in parts. Definitely not one to watch with mum & dad!

  I loved the original and didn’t see the point of a remake of a film that was mostly in English and only 2 years old. 

  HOWEVER, they change enough to put their own spin on it and James McAvoy is tremendous. Well worth a watch

  Blumhouse’s decline in quality horror’s should be studied. For every The Black Phone or The Invisible Man, there’s a Five Nights A Freddy’s, Truth or Dare, Imaginary, Halloween Ends, Exorcist Believer, Fantasy Island, Ouija and this pile of shite.

  Giving it one star for seeing and hearing things from the Wolfman’s perspective. Other than that, absolute turd
