  Good fun, too heavy handed for me at times, similar problem I had with Snowpiercer and more recently Don’t Look Up.

  The satire is fine, the leaders are caricatures of current leaders, however the stupidity with which they are presented just isn’t interesting to me.

  The horror in how these leaders play with people’s lives for populist media strategies is very interesting; how they get people on their sides while being vile humans. Here you have incompetent Trump and sauce lady, which has some gags that work, but others fall flat as they are just cheap punches.

  All the alien stuff is fantastic, great cgi.

  THEATRICAL CUT
  What a fucking film. How do you even achieve this in an age where you either get it on celluloid or not. Then how do you not mess up this in post-production. Magnificent piece of work. 

  The themes, conversations and images in this film are going to linger in my memory for quite a while.
