Captain America: Brave New World 2025

Just about as mid as I anticipated a 2025 Marvel movie to be. Seeing Harrison Ford turn into a red Hulk was the best part for me. I wish Giancarlo Esposito was on screen more, but this movie could’ve done better with a shorter runtime overall.

A Complete Unknown 2024
Going into this not knowing much about Dylan, I really enjoyed getting to learn more about his story even if it was a bit dramatized from reality. As a musician, I find this film especially inspiring and enjoyable.
I didn’t know he was such a d*ck at times… I’m glad they didn’t totally sugarcoat it for the sake of the film.

Robert Eggers does not miss!
I admit, I wasn’t very enthralled in the first half hour or so. Looking back, I think I just wasn’t prepared for the intro to kinda skip the horror foreplay and jump straight into it. But as the film progressed, and especially once my beloved Willem was on screen, my enjoyment of the movie grew with each passing scene.

T2 Trainspotting 2017
amusing, comedic, and enthralling like the first one, but much like most sequels, not quite as good as the first. I particularly enjoyed how the callbacks to the first film were employed throughout the sequel. My favorite part definitely has to be the new rendition of the "Choose life" monologue... I honestly gave this rating a half star extra just because of that monologue alone
