  in hindsight I probably shouldn't have watched this after a full day of dissertating. but i also didn't watch it all those times i drove past the Vista in 2018 either. i remember the hype surrounding it in los angeles because it was so heady and revelational. i had just graduated from my masters and was not in the headspace to subject myself to it. alas, i could not key in then and still can't 7 years…
