This was so funny! Mark Ruffalo is so good in this. I couldn’t have asked for a movie more appropriate for our “time”. I might even go on a limb to say this to me felt like a thematically more successful and simplified version/parody of Dune. But don’t tell the big Dawg Villeneuve.

Broke my time record for holding a tight clench. A remarkable creative feat of a fiction that I can’t help but render as real. Horror done so good I shall never recover from my shaken psyche. I also really appreciate the choice of black and white. I’m not alone when I think of this period, based on what I know and has seen recorded, almost entirely in black and white. Wish I got to see it on a big screen though.

Ok so I have watched this film 5 times now and I would watch it again. I love this film. It’s 5/5 entertaining and 4/5 quality. The production design is great, the costume work is stunning, unmatched even. The story is appropriate and fun. Above all Emma Stone’s performance is fantastic. I really like it and so has everyone I’ve shown it to.
