  honestly tom cruise can act?? I guess you learn something new everyday
  I really enjoyed this film even if 40 or so years may skew the perspective of what would be considered ethical storytelling in terms of plot.

  Brilliant from the first minute, wanes in the second act but ends on a strong note.  Adrien Brody excels in his portrayal as man under a spell of the American dream. His performance outshines the cast. Guy Pearce deeply impresses with his intricate mannerisms, one becoming Daniel Day Lewis in “There Will Be Blood”. Would watch again to experience the story afresh in the future.
