influences so apparent throughout (obviously thinking a lot about Lynch but there’s so much here that you could point to that draws directly from him, especially visually) but incredible how well it synthesizes those around this idea, especially how it very specifically pulls from them at different points of the film. sure it’s just Dorian Gray and sure subtlety is not its strong suit but that’s not the point at all. Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, Dennis Quaid all perfect for what this asked for. had me enthralled for the entire run time. comedy of the decade. I love movies
