This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A lot more subtle than I anticipated. But so deeply tragic and poetic. The pressure of conforming, the pressure of finding one's true self, the hurt, the guilt, shame etc... that ending scene really brought it together. Kevin is finding his true identity, and it's the hope that Chiron finds his as well. They both went on diverging trajectories, yet love brought them back together. Chiron took that step to go to the diner. I think it shows his strength. Despite the shame and hurt he's experienced in the past, deep down, he knows exactly what he wants, love.

Barbie 2023
Exquisite.
This movie is composed of so many things and it hit all the right spots. The part with Billie's music and Barbie and Ruth was really special. I liked the way they portrayed the main Ken, it wasn't anything insulting but it was just Ken being Ken. And I really did feel empowered throughout the whole movie. The beginning with all of the Barbies working all of the different jobs felt heartwarming.
I would've loved to see more character…
