  It didn’t take itself seriously and that’s all it really needed to be entertaining, but it also did a good job with its use of lighting and cinematography that gave it an extra edge. It was kind of a nice blend of tension, goofiness, and gore that made it hilarious and also exciting to see what it would do next. It was good timez honestly

  Reminds me of when Disney actually had a lot of fun making their own movies and you could tell, instead of them feeling more corporate and safe. This movie has some really great action scenes and they really love showing off the environments they made by having Hiro and Baymax fly through them. Character designs are really solid and the composition in the cinematography is great. It’s a super fun movie, but also really impressive with what they achieve artistically despite the narrative cliches. I like it more now than when I watched it back then!
