Kinda just the normal action comedy type movie. Solid if you don’t want anything too deep and want some fun moments. The biggest issue is the premise if you think about it at all.

Every mechanical thing becoming sentient is super unrealistic. Like who is programming sentience into a toaster? Toasters don’t even need code?!? You would need to deliberately program in sentience into a machine to make it sentient. This would not happen for normal things that do repeated…

Solid movie but the characters are stupid.

The children kinda get a pass but even then they be doing the stupidest stuff for no reason. It makes multiple scenes feel avoidable and therefore kinda forced.

Dinosaurs are tough tho so it gets 13 velocipastors out of 44 amber coated mosquitos.

    A great movie.

The Joker is incredible with Heath Ledger really capturing the essence of who Joker is. He doesn’t care about anyone and truly just wants to see the world burn.

Christian Bale is a solid Batman and I liked how the movie challenged Batman. It isn’t even necessarily Batman v Joker and is instead Batman against his morals and actions. Batman doesn’t kill and Joker pushes this rule to the maximum to force Batman to a breaking point.…

    Lowkey a banger.

They kept it a fun movie while being faithful to the many adaptations of Batman and the Lego movie. Its goofy tone also doesn’t prevent it from presenting an emotional story of Bruce’s development as a character.

I’m also happy they didn’t try to tie it to the real world like some of the other movies. There’s a place for that and it was good in the Lego Movie, but it’s not needed in every Lego movie ever.
