  Not as scary as I was hoping, but creepy none the less. Daniel Radcliff showed that he's not just the boy who lived and was able to step out of his Harry Potter robes. The creepy imagery used is probably the best I've seen in a while and worth the price alone.

  One of the best found footage type films I've seen. A fresh take on the genre and also a fresh take on the superhero genre. Chronicle proves that one doesn't need a bazillion dollar budget and big name actors to make a great movie.

  This Means War 2012

  Tom Hardy and Chris Pine would be great together in a full on action film. In this romantic comedy/action fare, they go to war over the same woman. The lovey-dovey stuff raked my nerves, but the action side of things kept it interesting. Decent romcom, but take that aspect out and give me some hard hitting action any day.

  Absolutely the best kind of science fiction/action cheese. Guy Pearce beefed up and puts on his devil-may-care face while blasting the crap out of prisoners in space. All to save the damsel in distress. Bad one-liners and some bad CGI both make an appearance but it mattered not. Mindless action at its best.
