  The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye 2011

  This is a fascinating story about how Genesis P-Orridge (lead singer of Throbbing Gristle & Psychic TV) and his wife Lady Jaye undergo an experiment in pandrogeny. They attempt to merge their identities through plastic surgery to look alike among other things. This film was tedious to sit through and I didn't feel like I got to know enough about Jaye. This could have been so much better given such unique subject matter.

  "Tell mama, tell mama all..." The cinematography in this film is beautiful precision. A skill that seems lost in today's cinema. Montgomery Clift and Elizabeth Taylor were remarkably paired for this sad love story. Shelly Winters really stands out with her most intriguing performance.
