Anatomy of a Fall 2023
Anatomy of a Fall may have been an opportunity to launch us into a labryinth of uncertainty, but the seed of doubt failed to firmly plant itself. The performances and script have a finesse and sleekness, enough to overlook the cinematographic inconsistencies peppered throughtout. 2 things could have made this a 5 star film for me: Daniel's reveal having more punch, and a steel drums cover of Murder on my Mind by YNW Melly.

Halfway through this film, I had to stop and ask if I was the only one who was really, really not enjoying it? I cannot remember the last time i actively felt myself *not* enjoying a film before this one. The first 20 minutes are fine, the script and some of the performances aren't particularly strong, but it's endearing.
