I always admire Iranian Cinema for showing the problems plaguing their country and people in the purest, most cinematic way possible. And this film is no different. It starts off as a political drama but at the half-way mark it turns into a heartstopping thriller with nail-biting tension in the final act. This is how a slow-burn film should be. Some notes (contains spoilers):

    - The opening scene starts off with Raghavan plotting revenge, just because a girl said she likes another guy who's a "ketta payyan". A film like "Premalu" treats a similar rejection in the opening scene…
