  Struggling with addiction and isolation, having yourself run in circles wondering if you even deserve better is a horrible feeling.   A Cinderella fairytale that is obviously such a lie it’s heartbreaking. Not a shed of romance or love here, just manipulation for self gain. Ivan is an easy to hate character because you immediately know he’s full of shit. He’s a stupid brat with money so he lives out his own personal “American Dream” where he parties all night with drugs and sex, never caring for consequences.   I love this movie man, everything about A New Hope Empire manages to crank up to 11. The tension, stakes, and scope are all so much more here from The Battle of Hoth to Luke vs Vader. Battle of Hoth is easily one of my favorite Star Wars moments ever, it has all of my favorite Rebel and Empire stuff from Snowspeeders and AT-AT’s.
