I agree with the take that the first half was better than the second, but then again, the second half just unsettled me. I do think it’s artistically worthwhile to create something that stirs up difficult emotions in people. I definitely liked it and respected it. Feel like I need to rewatch it in 30 minute spurts to really digest it.

Swan Song 2021
I cried a lot. I felt like this film held my hand and walked me through some really hard questions that most of us choose not to dwell on. I felt constantly reminded of my own vulnerability the entire time and it just cracked me open. An incredible performance by Ali. Definitely worth a watch if you want an intense emotional film night.
