  an apt title for a film that has completely overwhelmed (and slightly broken) me. to quote demi adejuyigbe, my heart felt so loud.

  i put off watching this for a long time. i wanted to hear one of my favorite band's scores the way it should be heard. i wanted to experience the tiny SFX team's hard work the way it should be seen.

  I don't often say this, but I think this could've been longer. once their relationships have been established, the movie kind of sprints through their lives together and I really would've liked some more time to breathe in those moments. overall a lovely movie that has me in my feelings about my own little family. bisexual polyamorists win today, folks!

  having grown up watching the original loads of times and not really seeing the need for a sequel, I'm surprised to say that I loved this, honestly. it's stunning to behold, for one. the shot of kate with the dandelion? gorgeous, chef's kiss, etc. but I was also struck by how much heart this had. I wasn't expecting to get emotional during this at all but I got a little soggy, ngl.
