When I saw my previous worst of the year a few months ago in cinemas, my main problem was that it had nothing going on and constituted an immature rejection of narrative. To summarize what I wrote down, it was nothing.

I was expecting worse, I guess. The big twist didn’t leave too much of an impact, and the reaction from other characters didn’t really make much sense. I did like most of the way the setting is depicted, though, and enjoyed Ralph Fiennes playing the good guy for once. It’s fun when he does that:
