  I’ll start off by saying that the overall acting was great (honorable mention to Glenn Close).

  The first 40 minutes of the film is a family drama focused on abuse, poverty and addiction. Horror elements are added in later to move the story line along.   I had such high hopes for this movie, like genuinely I was so excited. Obvi Longlegs is comparable to the silence of the lambs in that the killers only want to talk to the rookie female agent, however, Longlegs is missing the same type of menacing and interesting killer as shown by Hannibal.
