everything about maddison's plot line was so poorly done. from her lazy introduction to their dogshit chemistry that felt like they met two days ago and were doing an improv scene. her writing was just battered wife stereotypes, fuck me eyes, and inappropriate horniness. certified tough fucking watch in many Many moments.

i wanted this to be good so badly. at best it could be reworked to be a really good student quality experimental film about childhood trauma. at worst it's 40 minutes of staring at a wall with some cheap jump scares. it's saving grace was semi interesting camera work, but a lot of it was cheesy and unmotivated. sound design was 50/50.
is this an artist fartsy film that went over my head? maybe. but i think the 13 year old boy exiting the theatre said it best, "that movie FUcking sucked bro".
